Annual Retail Spending (2016) - Myeong-dong, Seoul

A retailer is looking at opening a shop in Myeong-dong, Seoul, so they are hoping to get an idea of what the domestic retail market is like within a 3 kilometer radius of the area.

The interactive map below shows annual retail spending for the sums of the following DTSM (department store type merchandise) categories:

2. Footwear/luggage/fashion accessories

3. Sporting & recreational goods)

Household spending data was aggregated and multiplied by the total number of households in each neighborhood. Data was collected from KOSIS.
