Interactive Maps for S. Korean Commercial / Retail Real Estate
As someone looking at Korean commercial or retail real estate, how would you like your data and analysis presented to you?
In a paper/hard copy (PDF) or in legible/digestible interactive maps that you yourself can actually control? Wouldn't you rather have your data presented to you in a "Google Map" that you can interact with?
I recently learned how to develop these kinds of interactive web maps where you may zoom in/out/pan to assess and interpret any data set that would be relative to your project.
Data set examples that might be of interest include:
Retail Analysis:
- Trade Area Delineation
- Demographic / Psychographics
- Competition Mapping
- Footfall Totals
Commercial Real Estate Analysis:
- Rental Rates per Pyeong/m2
- Vacancy Rates
- Total GFA per Office Building
- Efficiency Rates
The example that I made below using building footprint sizes was made in less than one day. Please find the interactive map and legend below.
Please feel free to contact me via email or mobile if you may have any questions about creating these kinds of maps for your clients who might be interested in this kind of research/analysis and presentation.
